Nissan Sport Sedan Concept debuts in Detroit - previews the future look of Nissan

Nissan Sport Sedan Concept is much more than a design study. The concept provides an advanced look at a future production sports saloon and also as Nissan says defines the next generation in coupes and crossovers.

The future production sports saloon the concept previews is most likely the next-generation Maxima.

This new design language that Nissan has been tweaking for some time is sporty, sharp and also bold.

Some of the notable next-generation Nissan design signatures include V-Motion front aspect, distinctive “floating” roof and boomerang-shaped headlights.

The Sport Sedan Concept is low, with wide proportions, riding on custom 21-inch aluminium-alloy wheels mounted with low-profile 275/30R21 tyres.

The front-wheel drive Sport Sedan Concept features an innovative suspension layout with performance dampers, and is powered by a 300-plus horsepower 3.5-litre V6 engine mated to a sport-tuned Xtronic CVT.
