Nissan GT-R Nismo teased - something big is coming... [video]

Nissan has released a first video teaser for the upcoming GT-R Nismo supercar, which will debut later this month at the Tokyo Motor Show.

This short video teaser does not even show the car just parts of the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife and flashes of number one. Titled: “#zerocompetition – Part 1” with a description of “Somewhere in the world, speed just got a new look. Raw speed, raw power, #zerocompetition. Something big is coming…”

So what does it all mean? Could it be that Nissan has managed to beat the Porsche’s 6:57 record that was accomplished back in September with the 918 Spyder supercar?

We doubt it as the GT-R is expected to produce around 570bhp, while the Porsche 918 Spyder packs an impressive 875bhp.

But if Nissan really manages to do a sub 6:57 time at the Nürburgring, with a car that is down on power and torque with a similar weight, then they have really built an amazing car with superb engineering.
