Nissan 'BOLT GOLD' GT-R Auction Starts on Thursday

The one-off Nissan ‘Bolt Gold’ GT-R, which was announced about a month ago will go to the highest bidder in a global online charity auction to be held on eBay Motors from November 22 to December 2, 2012.

This unique GT-R features a golden exterior and a gold plate embossed with Bolt’s signature and his autograph.

Final specs are not available as the car will be built to the performance specifications conforming to regulations in the winning bidder’s country of residence, meaning the bidding will be open to residents in countries where the GT-R is currently sold. Nissan will deliver the car to the winner in March 2013.

The special eBay Motors landing page also features other items signed by Mr. Bolt such as shirts, jackets, racing helmets, racing suits and driving boots.

All proceeds from the online charity auction will go to the Usain Bolt Foundation, which was established to support educational and cultural opportunities for children and young people in Bolt’s home country of Jamaica.
