Nico Rosberg Explains How The F1 Helmet Has Evolved [VIDEO]

Race car’s have evolved dramatically over the years. They are now much safer thanks to the technological progress. Same can be said about helmets. The development over the past decades has been stunning, from leather caps back in 1946 to state of the art technology in use today.

In the video below, Nico Rosberg, Formula One driver at Mercedes AMG Petronas, travels back in time to show us how the helmet has evolved since 1946. Enjoy!
