Next Subaru WRX STi caught again - this time on the Nürburgring

Following yesterday’s first pictures of the next-generation Subaru WRX STi, we are now bringing you pictures from the extreme Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The WRX STi prototype is unfortunately quite different from the hot WRX concept which debuted last month at the New York Auto Show. Of course all this camouflage makes it hard to guess the final look, but still you can easily see that the power bulge is gone, lower fascia is clearly not as aggressive and the rear fenders have been toned down.

Having seen the WRX concept we did hope the new model is something revolutionary, but looks like it is just an evolution of the current model. That’s not a bad thing though…
