Next-generation Nissan GT-R rendered with Sport Sedan concept inspired design

A talented X-Tomi Design has created renderings of the next-generation Nissan GT-R with styling influences taken from the Sport Sedan concept, that debuted earlier this month at the Detroit Auto Show.

Even though the Sport Sedan concept is mainly a preview for the next-generation Maxima, it also previews the future styling of Nissan so some of the styling cues are very likely to make it to the next GT-R, which is expected to debut in 2016.

Nissan’s Executive Vice President Andy Palmer told earlier this month that the next-generation GT-R will adopt a brutal appearance and the company has also registered the R-Hybrid moniker, meaning the new GT-R is very likely to use a hybrid drivetrain.
