New Volkswagen Golf VII Teased [VIDEO]

A new teaser video for the seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf has been released along with new details.

The video does not reveal anything new visually as it is covered by a sheet, but we get to see the vehicle’s body shell and new MQB platform.

New Golf is up to 100kg lighter and has a wider wheelbase (+59mm) and thanks to two new engines its fuel consumption and emissions have been reduced by up to 23 per cent.

Some of the new technical features include emergency city braking, proactive occupant protection, fatigue and traffic sign detection, lane assistant and adaptive cruise control.

Very likely the new Golf will make its online debut already next week ahead of Paris debut end of September.
