New Volkswagen Golf GTI driven by Chris Harris [video]

New seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf GTI is priced from £25,845 and available to order since April.

It is lighter, faster and more fuel efficient than the outgoing model.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine, that in the standard model delivers 217bhp and in the GTI Performance version packs 227bhp.

Chris Harris has been driving mostly different sports cars so it is very interesting to hear what he has to say about the new Golf GTI. Chris goes even as far as calling it one of the best cars to actually own. Watch the video below to see the full review.
