Compared to the outgoing model it has a bolder profile, offering a roomier interior with increased rear seat legroom, and an enlarged cargo area. It is longer(+35mm), wider (+20mm), taller (+15mm) and has a stretched wheelbase by 25mm.

In-demand infotainment features will be offered, including smartphone integration, navigation, rear view camera, and harman/kardon premium audio amplifier and speakers.

The U.S. spec model that will debut in Los Angeles, will be offered with a 170bhp 2.5-litre four-cylinder boxer and a 250bhp 2.0-litre turbo. Both six-speed manual and CVT gearboxes will be available.

UK customers are very likely have the option to choose from the same 148bhp 2.0-litre petrol and 145bhp 2.0 diesel found in the current car, along with the new 2.0-litre turbo.
