New Skoda Octavia Scout with rugged-look, higher clearance and all-wheel drive revealed

Skoda is expanding the new Octavia lineup with the introduction of a rugged-looking Scout version based on the Combi.

The Octavia Scout is distinguished from the standard Combi with black bumpers with silver off-road attachments, a wider front air intake, black protective side mouldings and a higher clearance (+33mm).

In addition to rugged-looks and higher clearance, the Octavia Scout also comes with all-wheel drive and 17-inch alloy wheels fittest as standard.

In the interior there is a 3-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel and new attractive features, designed especially for the Scout.

Engine details are limited, but Skoda says the powertrains are 20% more economical, compared to the vehicle’s predecessor.

The Octavia Scout will make its public early next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
