New Renault Trafic spied testing in Southern Europe

New third generation Trafic has been spied testing in Southern Europe, revealing part of the new bigger headlights, grille and long rear lights. It looks like the front is a bit higher than on the current model.

The new Trafic is expected to debut in the second half of 2014 and will come in different commercial versions, including a passenger van with nine seats.

The second generation Renault Traffic has been on the market since 2001 and in 2006 it received a mild facelift.

The current outgoing Trafic is a joint venture between Opel, Nissan and Renault. In addition to Trafic, it is also sold as an Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan Primastar. It is not known yet will Opel/Vauxhall and Nissan also get their version of the new Trafic.
