New Porsche 911 Laps the Nürburgring In 7:37 [VIDEO]

New Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S has been available for a while both as the Convertible and Coupe. Powered by a 392bhp 3.8-litre flat six with 440Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the SC package) and has a top speed of 188 mph.

Porsche has been testing their cars for a long time on the extreme Nürburgring, that is the ultimate test of man and machine.

Recently, the new 911 Carrera S, piloted by racing driver Timo Kluck lapped the ‘Ring in just 7:37,9 minutes. Very impressive, showing what an amazing job Porsche engineers have done.

For comparison, the outgoing 2010 Porsche 911 (997) Turbo did it in 7 minutes and 39 seconds.

We can’t wait to see the new 991 series Turbo out!
