New Porsche 911 Carrera 4 And Carrera 4S Revealed

Porsche has revealed the new all-wheel drive 911 (991) Carrera 4 and Carrera S in both coupe and cabriolet body styles. New Carrera 4 and 4s models feature the latest version of the active all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system.

Compared to the rear-wheel drive 911 Carrera models, the 4 and 4S feature 22mm wider rear wheel arches and house rear tyres that are ten millimetres wider.

The 911 Carrera 4 features a rear-mounted 350bhp 3.4-litre flat-six engine, enabling it to reach 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds (Cabriolet 4.7 sec) and reach a top speed of up to 177 mph (Cabriolet 175 mph).

The 911 Carrera 4 S is powered by a 400bhp 3.8-litre flat-six engine, enabling it to accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds (Cabriolet 4.3 seconds) to a top speed of 186 mph (Cabriolet 184 mph).

Seven-speed manual gearbox is standard, and the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) twin-clutch automatic transmission is available as an option.

In UK, the Carrera 4 Coupe is priced from £77,924, and the Carrera 4S Coupe priced from £87,959. The 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is priced from £86,583.00, and the Carrera 4S Cabriolet from £96,619. First cars will arrive in UK Porsche centres end of this year just in time for the winter.
