The new Unimog features a renewed state-of-the-art drive technology, control concept and cab. Ten different models are available and as you can see in the gallery below they can be modified for a wide range of different jobs from snow plowing to fire emergency service. In fact Mercedes says that more than 1000 different possibilites are registered.

Visually you can see new LED headlights and daytime running lights along with a more moden design.

The panoramic cabins have windscreen wipers fitted on the roof over the windscreen giving a better view, there is also a new front camera monitor system.

New interior reveals a multifunction steering wheel, adjustable steering column, improved heating and cooling system, new and larger instrument cluster and operating controls, which have been improved so that there is now a steering column pitman arm to operate driving different functions.

With portal axles, high ground clearance, differential locks, single tyres and the ability to rock out of dips, the Unimog is the right kind of a vehicle for anyone who works in extreme road and weather conditions…
