New Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG spied less disguised

Here we have the latest and best pictures of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG caught testing on the Nürburgring.

The C 63 AMG prototype has lost some of the camouflage and we can now see more of the AMG bumpers with big air intakes, bigger wheel arches, performance brakes and the rear with quad exhausts.

AMG engineers were pushing the prototype quite hard as after three laps the car started to smoke.

Overall design will be very similar to the new S-Class. Some people already call it a mini S-Class, which clearly is not a bad thing.

Power is expected to come from a twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 taken from the E 63 AMG. In the E 63 AMG it produces 525 hp, but in the smaller C 63 AMG it is likely to produce under 500 hp. Probably in the region of 450 horsepower.

The all-new C-Class (W205) will reportedly make its debut in January at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit with the AMG version to follow soon after.
