New Mercedes AMG GT prototype spied on the Nürburgring, could be the Black Series [video]

We have seen plenty of spy photos and also official teasers of the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT.

Here we have a new spy video showing a different AMG GT prototype doing some hot laps around the Nürburgring.

The prototype continues to have typical Mercedes camouflage, but we do get to see much bigger air intakes at the front and also a fixed rear wing. Previous prototypes have all shown a retractable rear spoiler.

The changes are not very big, but are potentially hinting that Mercedes is already working on the hot Black Series variant with more power, updated suspension and some weight cutting measures.

The AMG GT will make its public debut in early October at the Paris Motor Show. Power comes from an all-new 503bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 479 lb-ft of torque that in the hot Black Series model is expected to produce over 550bhp.
