New Lexus IS Reviewed by Jay Leno [VIDEO]

The new Lexus IS will make its global debut next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and as we have seen from different spy shots it will follow the same design language we have seen on the new GS, LS and the LF-CC concept.

The new IS rides on the shortened version of the GS platform with revised suspension, that features softer springs and stiffer anti-roll bars.

Engine choices are very likely to include a 200+ bhp 2.5-litre V6, a 300+bhp 3.5-litre V6 and a hybridized 2.5-litre four-cylinder with around 240 bhp.

Ahead of its public debut, Junichi Furuyama, chief engineer of new Lexus IS gave Jay Leno a first look and a test drive. The video is below. Enjoy!
