New Hyundai Genesis saloon spied in U.S.

Following our spy shots of the new Hyundai i20 from South Europe we are bringing you a less disguised next-generation Genesis saloon, which was caught testing in U.S. against a BMW 5 Series.

Next-generation Hyundai Genesis saloon is sleeker and sportier, showing a bigger grille at the front.

Rear-wheel drive setup will be part o the new model as well, though an optional AWD system is also expected.

Engine lineup is expected to include a 3.8-litre V6 and 5.0-litre V8 linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission, while a brand new 10-speed automatic is also rumoured. There are also reports about a possible hybrid model.

Hyundai currently does not sell the Genesis saloon in Europe, but it is very likely the new model is a global car and will be available also here.
