Honda has announced pricing details for the new Civic Tourer, which starts from £20,265.
The Civic Tourer is not attractive and some call it even ugly, but the boot space is quite impressive 624 litres and the interior looks quite practical with rear seats fitted with Honda’s Magic Seat system which enables an easy one-motion folding maneuver.
The entry level model uses a 140bhp 1.8-litre i-VTEC with 174Nm of torque mated to either manual or automatic transmission. Average fuel economy is 45.56mpg with CO2 emissions of 149 g/km.
The second engine available is a 116bhp 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel priced from £21,375.
The new 1.6 i-DTEC diesel accelerates from 0–60mph in 10.1 seconds, while achieving an impressive 74.3mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 99g/km.
When the tank is full the diesel powered Civic Tourer has a potential range of 817 miles.
The Civic Tourer is the lowest and most compact estate in the segment. 235mm longer than the Civic hatchback, the Tourer offers 624 litres of boot space and when rear seats are pulled down, creating a completely flat load area with 1668 litres of capacity up to the roof lining.Tags: Civic, Honda, Honda Civic, Honda Civic Tourer
