New from Land Rover: Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition Announced

Land Rover officially launched the new Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition yesterday, at the Bologna Motor Show. A unique addition to the Freelander 2 range, the SD4 Sport has dynamic styling inside and out.

The 4×4 is available in three colours; Fuji White and Santorini Black are joined for the first time by a new shade, Firenze Red. The external hues are complemented by the choice of two striking interior design themes. Ebony and ivory and ebony and pimento are the options.

The vehicle is no slouch, with its efficient 190Ps diesel engine. This, driving through a six-speed automatic gearbox, gives 0 to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds, and CO2 emissions of 185g/km.

The Land Rover Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition will go on sale from early next year, at a starting price of £33,945. And the ‘limited edition’ part is true: only 500 vehicles will be made available in the UK.
