New 2015 Opel/Vauxhall Corsa 5-door spied for the first time

The current generation Opel/Vauxhall Corsa (D) has been in production since 2006 an desperately needs a bigger update.

We have seen the Corsa facelift with a new front couple of times, so it is kind of surprising to see, what looks to be an actual prototype for the all-new generation Corsa testing in Germany.

It could be that previous prototypes were testing the new front and are not actual facelift models or Opel/Vauxhall will also launch a quick facelift this year before the all-new model arrives sometimes in 2015. That scenario is very unlikely though and we don’t expect another facelift of the current generation.

The Corsa prototype is heavily camouflaged, but we can see the front styling is inspired by the Adam city car, while the rear has some similarities to the Meriva. Overall the new model looks to have no big surprises and is a mild evolution of the outgoing model.

We also expect an all-new interior, along with the latest new petrol and diesel engines under the bonnet.
