New 2015 Audi R8 spied less disguised on the 'Ring

Few weeks ago we brought you the very first spy shots of the second-generation Audi R8 with a white and black camouflage from the Nürburgring.

Testing continues on the extreme Nürburgring and as you can see the prototype has lost most of its camouflage. The front bumper is still well disguised, but we can already see the new model has an evolutionary more angular design, with sharper lines. The rear gives us a much better view of the taillights, exhaust tips and the diffusor, compared to our previous pictures.

The new R8 shares its platform with the recently unveiled Lamborghini Huracan and the range topping model is expected to use the same 602bhp 5.2-litre V10 found in the Gallardo successor.

An updated 4.2-litre V8 is also expected to carry over and there are reports that a smaller turbocharged petrol engine will be offered as well.
