Audi’s new A3 three-door hatchback is now on sale from £19,205, with first deliveries in September. The new five-door variant dubbed as ‘Sportback’ is scheduled to make its world debut next month at the Paris Motor Show.
As you can see from these new spy shots the wheelbase has been stretched slightly compared to the three-door variant to create more passenger space.
The prototype is heavily disguised, but you can still see the rear doors and the small rear side window.
Engine range is expected to carry over from the three-door variant. Meaning here in UK, we get from launch 121bhp 1.4 TFSI and 178bhp 1.8 TFSI petrol units and 148bhp 2.0-litre TDI.
