Mysterious Porsche 911 Cabriolet facelift prototype spied with central dual exhaust

We have seen facelifted Porsche 911 (991) versions before with minor updates and today another big test group was spied again in Sweden. Last time we saw the Carrera S, Carrera S Cabriolet and Turbo models with updated front bumper, LED daytime lights and taillights.

What really caught our eye is a mysterious 911 Cabriolet with two central exhaust pipes. We have never seen anything like that before.

Currently the only 911 model in production with central exhaust is the GT3, but what you see here is quite different from what we are use to seeing on the track oriented GT3. The exhaust pipes are not as close to each other as on the GT3.

Nothing is official, but this new/hotter 911 Cabrio model is expected to wear a GTS badge.

The winter testing season is almost over as you can see from the warming weather and very soon automakers are back on the Nürburgring, where we also expect to see more of this mysterious 911.
