Musician Sammy Hagar buys a white Ferrari LaFerrari

Sammy Hagar is mainly known for his solo hit song “I Can’t Drive 55” and as a lead singer of Van Halen from 1985 until 1996, and then again for a reunion from 2003 to 2005.

He is also a quite successful businessman, having founded Cabo Wabo Tequila brand and restaurant chain, as well as Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. In addition he is very passionate about cars and happens to own a very impressive car collection that is now also a home to a new white Ferrari LaFerrari hybrid supercar.

Sammy Hagar is not the first famous musician to take delivery of the LaFerrari as roughly a month ago Jamiroquai’s lead singer Jay Kay took delivery of a Kermit Green LaFerrari.

According Yahoo Autos, Hagar owns a half-dozen Ferraris and he is obviously excited: “I suspect I might even have to take some more driving courses to really be able to pilot this baby with confidence. From everything I’ve read about the LaFerrari, you need to recalibrate your brain when you get inside”.

Just 499 units of the 950bhp hybrid LaFerrari will be built with a base price somewhere around £1 million.
