End of June, Morgan unveiled the fully electric EV3 prototype at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Based on the standard 3 Wheeler, the EV3 prototype is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 101bhp. In comparison the standard 3 Wheeler packs 115bhp.
Weighing roughly 25kg more than the petrol-powered 3 Wheeler, the EV3 weighs around 550kg.
Range from a fully charged battery is up to 150 miles and 0-62mph comes in 6.0 seconds, making it just as fast as the petrol powered version. Top speed is 80mph, compared to 115mph on the standard 3 Wheeler.
The EV3 is guaranteed to be one of the coolest electric-vehicles when it goes on sale end of 2016, with prices expected to start well above the £30,000 mark.
