Mitsubishi Teases CA-MiEV & GR-HEV Concepts for Geneva Motor Show

Mitsubishi will bring two new concepts to next month’s Geneva Motor Show.

The GR-HEV concept is dubbed ‘The Sport Utility Hybrid Truck’ and is the first time Hybrid (HEV) technology is applied to a one-tonne pickup truck. the system features Clean Diesel engine,electric motors and a full-time 4WD technology.

According to Mitsubishi this conceptual 4WD Sport Utility HEV Truck was developed with an ambitious target for CO2 emissions below 149 g/km, far better than the segment average.

The second concept is CA-MiEV, a Suburban EV which can accommodate next generation EV systems and high density batteries. The CA-MiEV will offer a 186 mile driving range. Other highlight include magnetic resonance wireless charging technology and smartphone activated functions.
