MINI Paceman Revealed, Priced From £18,970 [VIDEO]

MINI Paceman is essentially a coupe interpretation of the Countryman. Market launch is next spring and four versions will be available.

Compared to the Countryman it is almost identical in size, though the coupe like profile looks much better in our opinion.

The Paceman is a strict four-seater with two individual rear seats, that can be folded down to increase the load-carrying capacity from 330 litres to a maximum of 1,080 litres.

Paceman will be offered first with a choice of two petrol and two diesel with power ranging from 112bhp to 184 bhp. All engines are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, or the optional six-speed automatic with Steptronic function for manual control.

Top of the range Paceman S features a 184bhp 1.6-litre petrol, that enables it to reach 62mph in 7.5sec.

MINI’s ALL4 system is available on the Cooper D, SD and Cooper S Paceman models. A John Cooper Works Paceman version is also in development.

The Paceman will go on sale next March with prices starting at £18,970 on the road.
