MINI Coupe Spotted With Very Little Disguise

2012 MINI CoupeThese are the very first spy shots of the upcoming MINI Coupe that was first showed as a concept back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The prototype spotted today wears very little disguise meaning the launch is very soon. We wouldn’t be surprised if the production version makes its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The car pictured here has a retractable rear spoiler, which the concept did not have. Rest of the car is very similar to the concept.

The concept used a 1.6 litre four cylinder turbocharged JCW engine with 211bhp and 192 lb-ft of torque, that is most likely also going to power the production version.

The sales are expected to start this autumn for the Coupe and next spring for the Roadster. Stay tuned for more details!
