Millionth Fiat 500 Rolls Off the Production Line

Fiat 500 was introduced to the world on 4 July 2007 and is currently sold in over 100 countries around the world. The little iconic city car is produced since 2007 in Poland and since 2011 in Mexico.

The millionth Fiat 500 has just recently rolled off the Poland production line. The special milestone model is a Lounge variant finished in elegant three-layer Funk White and powered by a 69bhp 1.2-litre engine.

In Europe, the record market share was 13.9 per cent, registered in 2008, and a year later it reached peak sales volume of approximately 186,000 units.

The 500 is also available in North America since the end of 2010. So far over over 73,000 vehicles have been delivered, of which 42,000 were registered in the first 10 months of 2012.
