MG is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year by unveiling a new global concept EV, called the Dynamo.
The Dynamo is MG’s first ever electric vehicle and has been developed in order to fully understand European market demand for a small, electric MG.
The concept is quite attractive in a compact package, with the front fascia reminding us the Nissan Leaf. We can see vertical LED daytime lights, swept back headlights, sloping roofline, distinctive window line and five-spoke alloy wheels.
Power comes from an electric motor producing 70bhp and 155Nm of torque. Weighing 1,000kg, the Dynamo goes from 0-31mph in 5.3 seconds and range from a full charge is around 50 miles.
The concept looks quite ready for production, though it clearly needs bigger batteries as the range of 50 miles is just not enough.
