Mercedes Concept A-ClassMercedes-Benz is working on a new A-Class (M270), that in concept form will debut later this month at the Shanghai and New York Auto Show.

The A-class concept features an aggressive nose, long bonnet, low silhouette and slim side windows. The production version is expected to be very similar when it arrives next year.

The concept is powered by a 210bhp BlueEFFICIENCY 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a dual-clutch transmission. Some of the technology highlights in the concept include radar-based collision-detection system and Adaptive Brake Assist.
