Mercedes CLA 45 AMG by Brabus packs 394bhp

Mercedes CLA 45 AMG is a very impressive vehicle in its class, packing 355bhp from a 2.0-litre turbo four. It is the most powerful production engine in its class, but there clearly is room for more.

Brabus has tweaked the engine of the CLA 45 AMG, along with minor exterior and interior updates.

The engine gets an addition 39bhp, raising power from 355bhp to 394bhp, with torque up by 37 lb-ft, to 369 lb-ft.

With the help of extra 39bhp, 0-60mph time is down to 4.2 seconds, a 0.2 improvement compared to the standard car. Top speed remains at 155mph with the speed limiter, or can be raised to 168mph when removed.

As always Brabus does a fine job with updating the exterior and interior, not going overboard like some tuners.

The new body kit has some red-accents on new trim pieces(grille and mirrors), a new roof spoiler and rear lip spoiler. Different wheels in sizes 19 and 20-inches with red accents complete the exterior.

The interior follows a similar theme with plenty of Alcantara, red accents, red seat belts and new floor mats.
