Mercedes bringing Car-to-X technology to the roads later this year

Different automakers are developing Car-to-X technology, which allows the car to transmit and receive data in order to warn the driver of possible danger and/or traffic problems.

Looks like Mercedes-Benz is the first to bring this automated safety technology into a production vehicle. The Car-to-X technology will arrive to series Mercedes production vehicles by the end of this year.

The technology won’t be just part of new cars, but Mercedes will also offer the retrofitting of Car-to-X technology to many of its models.

Check out the detailed press release about the technology and how it can improve everyones safety on the road.
