Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Caravan concept revealed

Mercedes-Benz is showing the new Sprinter Caravan concept at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf from 31 August to 8 September.

The Sprinter Caravan is based on the new Sprinter high-roof model and is completely open from the middle of the front passenger door to the rear axle, revealing a living area with front seats turned around.

A spacious side-facing bench seat can be pulled out to form a double bed. There is also a kitchen and a bathroom with integrated wardrobe fitted in transverse position in the rear.

The yacht-inspired interior features a flat screen television, hard-wearing HPL coating in high-gloss white, grey laminate flooring, seats with white genuine automobile leather from Mercedes-Benz, side walls and ceiling covered in Alcantara and LED lighting throughout. Kitchen is nicely equipped with a stove and a small refrigerator.

The exterior is finished in a new tenorite grey metallic paint.
