Mercedes-Benz S-Class line-up is growing fast.
Here we have a video teaser for the S-Class Coupe, which will be shown to the press tomorrow at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The teaser video confirms again that the CL-Class successor will be called S-Class Coupe, following a similar move MB has already done with E-Class and C-Class Coupe’s.
Even though the teaser video does not show a whole lot we already know the coupe will be quite different compared to the saloon.
The 2+2 coupe is expected to use most of the engines from the saloon including the twin-turbo V8 from the S 63 AMG and V12 from the upcoming S 65 AMG.
Tech and safety features will carry over, while the interior is expected to boast sportier seats and a different trim.
The production model will follow soon with a possible debut in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
