Mercedes-Benz GLA teased ahead for Frankfurt debut

We have seen the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover as a concept and also as a prototype for the production model with different disguises.

Now little less than a month before its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Mercedes has released two design sketches on its Facebook page.

Based on the new A-Class, the GLA sits higher, has bulging fenders, two-bar grille and the interior will be almost identical.

There will be a wide range of 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines producing up to 211bhp, while the top of the range GLA 45 AMG will come with an impressive 360bhp from a 2.0-litre AMG four-cylinder turbo engine linked to AMG 7-speed sports transmission and AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
