Mercedes-Benz GLA Small SUV Spied

These are our first spy shots of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA compact SUV, that is based on the new front and four-wheel drive MFA platform which already is used for the new A-Class and B-Class.

The prototype looks very similar to the new A-Class, though at closer look you will notice a much wider and higher grille with two lines in it. Roof railings and also the side window line is new. Te rear boot is also new with a wider boot.

The GLA will span both front and four-wheel drive models and a similar engine line up to the new A-Class. This new compact SUV will go against the BMW X1, Mini Countryman, Audi Q3 and new Range Rover Evoque when it arrives in early 2014.
