Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Spied For The First Time

We have already seen the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLA small SUV testing at various locations.

Here we have the first pictures of the hot GLA 45 AMG variant, which was caught testing in Spain.

The GLA is based on the new MFA modular platform that also underpins the new A-Class and upcoming CLA.

The prototype reveals bigger air intakes in the front bumper, bigger wheels, bigger brakes and one single exhaust on each side as we have seen before on early stage AMG prototypes.

The 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo engine produces 350bhp and more than 295 lb ft of torque. All that power will be sent to all four wheels via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed dual clutch sports transmission. The same engine will also power the A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG.
