Following our latest spy shots of the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG near the Nürburgring last month we are  now bringing you first pictures of the GLA 45 AMG prototype from the the famous track itself.

These are the first laps for the GLA 45 AMG around the extreme Nürburgring. Just as the already revealed A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG, the GLA 45 AMG crossover will use a 360bhp 2.0-litre AMG four cylinder turbo engine mated to an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission, with power sent to AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

The GLA shares its new MFA modular platform with the new A-Class and CLA.
