Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Revealed, Sales Start In November

CLS Shooting Brake is a new addition to the CLS four-door coupe range. With five doors and a roof that continues through to the rear it offers new possibilites. It still looks as good, but now you have little more space. The load volume is between 590 and 1550 litres. The CLS Shooting Brake even has an optional trailer coupling available.

According to CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche: “Any memorable machine is equal parts art and science. A car has to first deliver in function – the ticket of entry – and then in fascination: the ticket to real excitement. The CLS Shooting Brake excels on both accounts – unlike any other car in the market”.

The CLS Shooting Brake is available with two different engines in UK, both mated to the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission as well as the ECO start/stop function.

The entry-level CLS250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY produces 204bhp and has a combined fuel consumption of 53.3mpg. The CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY produces 265bhp.

UK pricing will be confirmed closer to sales, which begin in November.
