Mercedes-Bens S-Class Cabriolet rendered

Yesterday Mercedes-Benz unveiled online the new S-Class Coupe, and now two talented “automotive manipulators” have created first renderings of the S-Class Coupe Convertible, based on the first official pictures of the coupe.

The S-Class Convertible is already in development and has also been confirmed by Mercedes-Benz and is likely to feature a foldable soft top.

Because of the soft top, the roofline will be a bit different compared to the coupe, but the rest should be identical. It is also likely that the windshield angle will be altered little as well. At the rear we expect to have AIRCAP air-deflection system to reduce interior wind turbulence.

The S-Class Convertible is expected to debut first as a concept later this year and then in production form in early 2015 just in time for summer driving.
