Mercedes-AMG GT interior images released - debuts this autumn

We have seen the upcoming AMG GT testing for some time now, and ahead of its debut this autumn(most likely Paris Motor Show in October), Mercedes-AMG has released first two interior images.

It is one of the nicest interior layouts form Mercedes, showing a wide centre console with buttons on each side of the shifter, along with high quality materials.

“The new Mercedes-AMG GT shows that we will be positioning AMG more vehemently and aggressively than to date as a dynamic sports car brand,” notes Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

Mercedes-AMG also confirmed that power comes from an AMG V8. Most likely a 4.0-litre twin-turbo with power sent exclusively to rear wheels via seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch gearbox. Engine output is expected to be around 500-550bhp.

An open-top Spider should follow later, along with a more powerful Black Series with around 600bhp.
