McLaren Sports Series teased, debuts in the second quarter of 2015

McLaren has released the first official picture of their new entry-level Sports Series that has been internally known as P13.

The hashtags: #McLarenSportsSeries, #BlackSwanMoments, #P13 and #McLarenP13 don’t tell much about the new model, but the front clearly reveals a P1 inspired design, boasting LED-infused headlights, aggressive front bumper, sculpted bonnet, side skirts and P1-inspired side mirrors.

This new model will continue using a carbon fibre chassis and a mid-mounted V8 engine.

Engine details remain a mystery, but it is most likely detuned 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 450-500bhp.

Going against the Porsche 911, the new entry-level McLaren will debut in the second quarter of 2015.
