McLaren P1 Supercar Spied Up Close

McLaren P1 is one of the most anticipated supercars to arrive next year. Here we have the latest spy shots taken in Spain, showing the P1 up close and for the first time we get to see the rear spoiler, which we did not see on previous spy shots.

The successor to the F1 supercar will make its world debut in production guise at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013, with first deliveries expected to commence in late 2013, just in time for McLaren’s 50th anniversary.

Power is expected to come from a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 mated to KERS for a total output of around 800bhp.

McLaren Automotive Managing Director Antony Sheriff commented at the Paris Motor Show: ‘Our aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit’…
