Mazda MX-5 GT Concept Revealed Ahead Of Goodwood Debut

The Mazda MX-5 GT Concept has been inspired by MX-5 GT race programme and is powered by a 205bhp 2.0 litre petrol engine that is mated to the standard manual gearbox. Public debut is next week at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Mazda will test customer reaction to this new version of the iconic roadster.

The MX-5 GT also features an uprated suspension, a carbon front splitter, a rear diffuser, boot spoiler, a sports exhaust system with a central tailpipe, Recaro seats and the interior features a number of carbon enhancements that help reduce weight.

The Mazda MX-5 GT Concept will be on display throughout the Goodwood festival on Mazda’s stand, as well as taking part in the famous hillclimb in the ‘First Glance’ category.
