Lotus Fires CEO Dany Bahar
Lotus has issued a press release, confirming earlier reports that Mr Dany Bahar has been terminated from his employment as Chief Executide Officer at Lotus with immediate effect.
The decision was made by the Board of Group Lotus plc following the results of an investigation into a complaint made against him by the company’s penultimate holding company, DRB-HICOM Berhad.
Lotus has appointed Aslam Farikullah as the company’s Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. We don’t know much about Mr. Farikullah. According to Lotus, Mr Aslam Farikullah is 51 years old and has over 26 years working experience, most of which was in the automotive industry. Where exactly was not mentioned.
Lotus did not reveal any details about the Bahar scandal, keeping his dismissal confidential. Different reports point out that he was fired for misuse of company funds…
