Lotus Elise 20th Anniversary Edition revealed, priced from £39,900

Lotus Elise has been on the market for 20 years and to celebrate the milestone, Lotus has unveiled a special 20th anniversary edition of the Elise.

The Elise 20th Anniversary Edition is powered by a 217bhp 1.8-litre supercharged petrol engine with 250Nm of torque, taking the 914 kg sports car from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds on to a top speed of 145mph.

With a weight of 914 kg it is 10 kg lighter than the standard model, consuming 47.8 mpg with CO2 emissions of 173 g/km.

The special edition Elise will be offered in four different exterior colours: blue, green, yellow and silver combined with a matte black rear diffuser, wing mirrors, roll hoop and rear transom.

There are also matte black forged alloy wheels and special decals inside the cabin on the seats and dashboard.

The Elise 20th Anniversary Model is priced from £39,900 offering £5,150 worth of extra goodies for £2,700 if you compare the price of a standard Eise.

A hardtop will be offered as well for £1,200, as well as air conditioning for £1,250 along with cd/radio & USB connection and NVH pack for an extra £1,200.
