Lexus teases new F model for Detroit Auto Show, most likely the RC F

Lexus has announced that an all-new F model will debut next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Along with a teaser image Lexus only says the new model is engineered from scratch, and promises to deliver performance synonymous with Lexus’s heritage of F-designated performance models.

Most likely the model we get to see next month is the RC F with a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 delivering around 450bhp and 401 lb ft. of torque.

The teaser image reveals very little and we get to see new alloy wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, little of the front grille, F badge on the side vents, part of the headlights and bumper.

The RC F is rumoured to have carbon fibre bonnet, roof, lower ride height, sportier suspension, Brembo brakes and also revised interior with sportier seats.
