Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6x6 Concept by Kahn Design looks ready for some serious off-roading

Remember the unbelievably awesome Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6?

This very limited and very expensive three-axle G-Class is reportedly soon out of production and if you want one, you are probably already late to the party.

Don’t worry as Kahn Design has prepared something similar, based on the Land Rover Defender called Defender Flying Huntsman 110 WB 110 WB 6×6 Concept.

Currently in concept form the production model is expected to cost around £150,000.

The Flying Huntsman is not as extreme as the three-axle G63 AMG, but clearly an interesting and cheaper alternative.

The Flying Huntsman is based on the Land Rover Defender but has a 400mm longer bonnet, stretched rear cabin by 1000mm and the car is 150mm wider. For additional cost it could be covered with armour plating.

Power comes from a 430bhp 6.2-litre V8 LS3 linked to a six-speed automatic gearbox. There is also a hi-lo ratio drive system with locking differentials and updated suspension and braking systems.
